Brazil Music Tours is the Brazil-focused project from the team behind Musical Getaways. Our scheduled departures are designed to make music-centered travel in Brazil more accessible, using regionally focused routes, comfortable hotels, selected private experiences, local cultural hosts and the public music and cultural life already happening around us. Musical Getaways remains the home for highly bespoke, premium multi-destination journeys, while Brazil Music Tours can go deeper into specific Brazilian regions and traditions. We can also help with private Brazil trips when a scheduled departure does not fit your dates. Our itineraries connect travelers with Brazil’s rich musical heritage, ranging from the soulful sway of bossa nova along Ipanema’s shores to the electrifying energy of samba in Rio de Janeiro, and the captivating rhythms of axé in Salvador.
The goal is not to collect musical landmarks. It is to spend meaningful time with the music, people, and places that define Brazil’s soundscape. That can mean hearing a neighborhood rehearsal, joining a hands-on percussion workshop, spending time with local musicians, or experiencing Carnival with enough context to understand what you are hearing.
